HPPL is a registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization. Our mission is to rehabilitate and provide foster care for stray/abandoned dogs and cats with the goal of placing them into qualified, permanent adoptive homes; to provide assistance to pet owners who are unable to assume the cost of spaying/neutering their animals; to provide humane education and increase public compassion for animals in an effort to prevent future animal suffering and neglect; to support other animal welfare organizations.
Houston Cares Animal Rescue, previously known as Westbury CARE, is more than just a 501c3 rescue, it's a community of animal lovers working together to make a difference for animals in Houston.
We are an open-intake No-Kill facility for lost and surrendered animals from within the city limits of Rosenberg. Our aim is to place all adoptable animals into responsible and loving homes where they will be a good match and live a fulfilled life with their human companions.
Provide placement services that will assist homeless pets in finding their owners or new homes when necessary. Enforce animal regulations and assist the public with animal-related concerns. Provide animal services to the public to educate and promote humane, compassionate treatment of animals and responsible pet ownership.
Special Pals is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization founded in 1979 and is the oldest continuously running “no-kill” animal shelter in the Houston metro area. Our mission is to save as many animal lives in Houston as possible in cooperation with local rescue organizations.
Scout's Honor rescues animals from city pounds, including animals from Houston's local animal shelters. Scout's Honor also takes in animals living on the streets. We do not limit our program to healthy animals or particular breeds, and we often save animals from abusive situations. Scout's Honor's rescue program is foster based. Because Scout's Honor is a foster-based program, we have no facility at which you can drop off animals or view animals.
Love And Rescue’s goal is to get our four legged friends off the streets and into loving, forever homes. The success of our efforts rely on three main factors: love for animals, monetary support from Sponsors and Donors, and a loving Foster home where our rescue animals can heal.
