Heart of the Underdogu0027s wish is that no animal will have to endure the pain and suffering of a life of abandonment and neglect. Our mission is to advocate for pets in need through fostering, adoption, education, spay/neuter, and community outreach to help strengthen the human-animal bond.
K9 Airkift, Inc is dedicated to the rescue of dogs, cats, birds and barn animals. We provide foster care, medical needs and rehabilitation to all creatures big and small. We are committed to the animals in our program and work tirelessly to educate others about adopting a rescue animal.
Twylau0027s Friends is a 501c(3) non-profit organization. rnWe are a volunteer-run organization with no shelter or kennel facilities. Our mission is to help abandoned and rescued dogs in our community find new loving homes. All donations are used to help pay veterinary expenses for dogs in immediate need going through our program.
Our main focus is rescuing dogs and adopting them to loving homes or transportingu00a0dogs in need to approved Rescues in upstate NY and Michigan.u00a0 All our dogs have been spayed/neutered;u00a0 heart-worm tested (if age appropriate); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. Puppies will not be adopted out till over 12 wks of age, once we are able to alter them.rnrnWe do not have a shelter; all dogs live in foster homes so that we are best able to assess what type of home would be best for our foster dogs. Our goal is to ensure a good match between adopter and foster dog, to ensure the dog has a home for life and wonu2019t have to be moved again.rnrnrnu00a0rnrnrn
Paw-Some Small Critters Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, all-volunteer group of critter lovers. We saw the need in our area for a rescue that provided medical care, shelter, u0026 love for the needy, unwanted, homeless, or neglected small critters of Brazoria County and beyond. We try to provide community services that help keep companion animals with their humans as often as possible, and if it is not possible, then we also take in the surrendered pocket pets n Paw-Some Small Critters Rescue has worked with other Rescue Groups, our local SPCA, Humane Organizations, and people in the private sector, to place companion animals all over our area in classrooms as classroom pets to allow children the opportunity to see animals they may not be able to. PSSCR also provides animal u0022critter cuddlesu0022. This is a program where a small group of size appropriate animals go off-site to either a school, day-care, or living facility and the animals get to interact with the people who are there. It is as beneficial to the critters as it is to the residents/students. Paw-Some Small Critters Rescue, Inc. provides these services and more through donations from individuals that believe in our mission. Donations help provide the food, medical care, and living expenses of all of our critters here at PSSCR.n We also provide Lower Brazoria County and surrounding areas, a safe place to surrender their critters. We are a u0022No Killu0022 rescue, and if the animal is not adoptable, for whatever reason, they will get the medical care that they need, and if need be, spend their u0022Fur-Everu0022 here, with us, getting the love, care, and attention that every u0022Critteru0022 (big u0026 small) deserves.nWe at PSSCR have u0022returned to our rootsu0022, and are only working with exotic pets, such as rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, chinchillas, deus, reptiles, fowl, pot bellied pigs, goats, etc.n
