We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit saving dogs in Houston, Tx. We foster and adopt out dogs in Houston, where so many dogs are left helpless or homeless. We find dogs on the streets and from shelters who are bursting at the seams. We believe every dog deserves love, good health, safety, and all the cuddles in the world.
CAMO Rescue offers life, health and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues canu2019t or wonu2019t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue u2018euthanasia listedu2019 animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving, family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. nnWe believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
Love And Rescueu2019s goal is to get our four legged friends off the streets and into loving, forever homes. The success of our efforts rely on three main factors: love for animals, monetary support from Sponsors and Donors, and a loving Foster home where our rescue animals can heal. Our approach is simple:rnrnWe start by providing education on best practices for animal care.rnThen, we help people get involved in a way that makes sense for them.rnWeu2019ve found that one of the most common limits to people choosing to Foster is lack of resources. We try to bridge that gap by bringing willing Fosters together with generous Sponsors willing to donate money toward supporting an animal in need. Love And Rescue takes pride in our adoption process. We set reasonable expectations for adopters and work together with other local shelters and rescue groups to ensure a perfect fit between the human(s) and animal(s).
