TSNP is a primarily special needs rescue in Houston, TX. We want to help the few that we can get their best chance and hopefully into a home of their own.
Fluffy's Friends, Inc. is a registered Texas Non-Profit Corporation established for the purpose of preventing cruelty to animals. In Texas there are many cat breeders dumping unwanted cats at kill shelters. In this economy, there are many owners no longer able to care for their pets. We rescue Ragdoll, Maine Coon, Nebelung, and other mix-breed long hair cats from city and county shelters, as well as take in cats from owners who can no longer afford to take care of their cats. We are a private rescue and privately funded. We are not a shelter, but a rescue. A rescue is a private home and not a public place to visit
To provide a safe environment for neglected or abused canines and equines that need a place to rehabilitate or be in foster care until a permanent home can be established for them. To work with like and assist like-minded animal assistance organizations and assist them with providing sanctuary and rehabilitation for canines and equines until permanent homes can be established for them.
Joyrides Rescue is based in Houston, TX and Jersey City, NJ. We do not have a shelter - all of our pets are in foster homes or private boarding kennels. We pull from local high-kill shelters and care for our adoptables until their forever family finds them. We do not discriminate based on age, breed or health of any animal. We are funded solely by our adoption fees, donations and our personal bank accounts.
PUPS is a 501 (c)3 charity non-profit organization dedicated to helping decrease the number of unwanted/euthanized animals in our area. Our mission is to assist people with the spaying and neutering of family pets, feral cat (barn cat) colonies and abandoned animals to decrease pet overpopulation.
Cats for Life, Inc. is a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving and saving the lives of stray and abandoned cats in the Greater Houston, Harris County area. We rescue these cats and take them to veterinarians to spay/neuter them, combo test them for feline leukemia and FIV, shots and deworming. They live in our homes until such time as they are adopted to responsible, loving homes. They are treated with as much love and respect as our own personal cats. We know their personalities well, and we are able to match cats with our adopters' needs and wants. We want our adopters to be happy, our adopted cats to be happy and, if applicable, the adopters' own personal cat/cats to be happy with the choice of our cats as companions for the adopters' cat/cats.
Our goal is to foster and support a community where all animals are treated humanely and with compassion and in which there is a forever home for every adoptable animal.
Back Ground: Texas Sled Dog Rescue is a non-profit volunteer organization founded in January 2012 designed to assist Siberian Huskies and Alaskan Malamutes needing rescue. Our mission is to find loving, forever homes and educate potential owners about their personality traits which many times is overshadowed by their captivating looks. While in rescue, we will place them in foster homes, provide basic training as needed, and vetting which includes updated vaccinations, spay or neuter and micro-chip. Our volunteers are involved in all facets of rescue including but not limited to fundraising, transporting, evaluating dogs, representing the rescue at local dog events, fostering, etc.
Furry Friends Animal Aid will provide temporary shelter and medical care for rescued cats and kittens for the purpose of finding them suitable and permanent new homes. FFAA will educate the community regarding the importance of spaying and neutering, promote caring and healthy relationships between pet owners and their animals, and provide our adopted cats/kittens with lifetime support. nnOur motto: u0022Save a life, Adopt a Pet!u0022
